We had a great field trip today at Eagle Creek Ornithology!

Ending our field trip with the Lord's Prayer. 

The friends were extremely excited to observe more birds back in the classroom! 

The friends worked hard to match all of the bird books to a cardinal!

During small group time we practiced important phonemic awareness skills with Mrs. Helmkamp. 

With me, we tested various items to see if they flew with the air of the fan.

With Mrs. Lipsey, the friends made birds out of play dough.  Mrs. Lipsey helped the friends use new vocabulary about bird anatomy.  Ask your child to share with you the parts of a bird's body!
