Happy Birthday Miguel!  ¡Feliz cumpleaƱos!
We are so happy that God brought you and your family to Our Shepherd!

My Spirit rejoices in God my Savior!" Luke 1:47

During Jesus time this morning we learned that because of sin, we need a Savior.  God loved the world so much that He gave His Son to save us all from the punishment of our sins.  All along, God knew what needed to be done.  Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can trust that our caring God always knows what we need.  We rejoice that our Savior was born!

We had so much fun freeze dancing in the gym.  Freeze dancing increases self-regulation.  :)

We continued to practice subitizing and re-telling the most important Christmas story during small group time.

We continued with alphabet bingo.

We also created trees with loose parts.

This morning Pastor Lepley led chapel.  We sang many Christmas songs and discussed how they share the best news - the news of a birth of our Savior!  Jesus' birth is important because of His death and resurrection for our sins.

We then went to the gym!

During small group time the friends used the magnetic tiles as a pattern to make a star.  They then traced the star for us to cut out later.

We continued to practice subitizing.

We also practiced letter recognition as we played Bingo.

We worked together to make a stable in our classroom!

Some friends wanted to make angels for the stable.  I put out large paper and crayons to see what they would do...

They decided to trace each other's bodies and cut it out!

This afternoon we explored the snow and ice before heading to the outdoor classroom.
