Hello Pre-K Parents!

            Welcome to Our Shepherd Lutheran School!  My name is Tracie Douglas, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year.  I am also looking forward to working together with you as we learn about God’s righteousness, justice, and steadfast love (see our 2016-2017 school theme verse in Psalm 33:5). There are so many exciting things ahead at Our Shepherd in the next few weeks!

            I will be in our classroom during final registration day, August 2^nd (9:00-12:00and 4:00-7:00).  I invite you and your child to come visit me that day and take a tour of the classroom. You may bring in any labeled school supplies that you have already purchased.  

            I also invite you to attend one of the Pre-K parent orientation sessions.  (Monday, August 8^th at 4:30 or 7:30).  Even if you have attended preschool/pre-k at Our Shepherd in the past, please plan to attend one of these sessions.  Parent orientations are intended for parents only, so please plan childcare accordingly.  Thank you! 

            Finally, we will have a special pre-k open house Tuesday, August 9^th from 9:00-9:45 and/or 4:00-4:45.  This is another time for you and your child to come and visit the classroom before the beginning of the school year.
