Happy Tye Dye Day!

We started with devotions in the sanctuary with our chapel buddies.

Mr. Kyle Borcherding led our devotions this morning.

In the gym we had a dance party with the middle school friends!

During small group time the friends did a self portrait and a family graph with Mrs. Dohrman.  We reenforced one to one correspondence as well as discussed who lives in a house.

The friends practiced writing house words.

With me, the friends problem solved how to make their own doorbell.  We discussed the materials that make the cans ding.

"This one doesn't make the sound."

"What is it made of?"

"Plastic"

"Have you tried a different material?"

"Oooo!  This one is metal!  It works!"

This morning Mr. Mark Borcherding led our devotions.

We then went on a parade of nations and played a trivia game!

Back in the classroom, we danced together!  We were excited to have the friends from Mrs. Helmkamp's class with us today!

We then had a snowball fight in the classroom with styrofoam balls.  The friends practiced catching and throwing them with each other.

Free choice time

After rest the friends wanted to work to make a doorbell for our classroom!  We problem solved and started the bell making process.

We also made a speaker to check and see who is at the door.
