"I, the Lord, am your Savior."  Isaiah 60:16

During Jesus time we reviewed the story of Adam and Eve.  We remembered that we all make the wrong choice sometime, and that is why God sent Jesus to be our Savior!

During small group time we strengthened our fine motor skills as we pinched clothes pins to pick up pom pom balls and drop them into bowls.  We worked to do it as fast as we could.

We also created with the pattern blocks.

We worked to retell the story of Mrs. McNosh Hangs Up Her Wash with Mrs. Zwettler.

We also practiced sorting and guessed how our friends made different "teams" (sorted).

Outside time

The creation station was busy during free choice time!

Did you know that creative thinking, according to the updated Bloom's Taxonomy, is the highest level thinking skill?  So when the children engage in creative thinking, they are also engaging in cognitive development!

During morning meeting we observed our new number line that we created yesterday.  We will use this to practice counting and recognizing numbers.  :)

Second outside time

During small group time we exercised our fine motor skills again!

We also played our sorting game!

We continued to work with pattern blocks too!

Free choice time

We loved looking at each other's family pictures!

Some of the friends played library too!
