What a great day we had in Pre-K!

Our fine motor skills have really grown since the beginning of the year!

We love to play board games!  I encourage you to play board games with your children at home.  They are learning number recognition, how to subitize, and one to one correspondence while having so much fun.

Outside Time

During small group time we practiced writing the numbers on the number mat.

We also compared numbers to decide which number is bigger and which is smaller.

With me, the friends practiced recognizing and writing letters with me.

During Jesus time we learned the story of the bronze snake found in Numbers 21.  We learned that just like the snake healed the people in the bible, Jesus heals us from sin, death, and the devil!

Whoops!  I must have had cold hands at second outside time because I don't have any pictures from second outside time.  My apologies!

During second free choice time the friends worked in the creation station.  We had troubles sharing the tape, so we worked together to make some rules that would help us use the tape and show God's love.

We love board games!

During small group time the friends had a chance to write letters/numbers and give their friends hints about which letter/number it is. (Again, Mrs. Lipsey's group worked with numbers and I worked with letters.)

Independently, the friends read some of our new books.
