Happy Friday!

If you are looking for a place to worship this weekend, we would love to have you here at Our Shepherd.  We have services on Saturday at 6:30 pm, and Sunday at 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:00 am.  If you want someone to sit with, let me know what service you are attending, and I will be happy to sit with you!

This morning the friends went straight to exploring, imagining, and engaging in cooperative play in the veterinary clinic.

Block creations

Pastor Matt was our Library Volunteer today. Thank you for reading to us Pastor Matt!

Praise God for the beautiful weather today!

We did our small groups outside today.  With me, the friends observed a geode rock.  We discussed how it is dirty and not so beautiful.  Then, we all put on safety goggles and watched as I broke open the geode.  (The friends were a good 10 feet away to ensure their safety.)

The geode was so beautiful on the inside!  It glittered and sparkled.  We discussed that is what Jesus does for us.  We are  dirty with sin without Jesus.  Because of Jesus death and resurrection on the cross, we are made beautiful and clean!

With Mrs. Lipsey, the friends acted out the story of God parting the red sea.  They used straws to blow the "red sea" into dry ground.  They discussed that our God is powerful!  He is so powerful that He rose Jesus from the dead to save us from our sins!

Second outside time

Second free choice

Some of the friends wanted to do math problems during second free choice!  We have some motivated learners in Pre-K!

During second small groups we explored the instruments.  We practiced played fast, slowly, softly, and of course loudly!

We then did an instrument parade to practice rhythm.
