Happy Birthday Levi!  We are so thankful that you are in our class!

This morning the friends played the addition pet game!

Of course we created too!  Our fine motor skills have grown so much!

Vet play

I ordered some x-rays of animals for the friends.  There was no dog x-ray, but they had a lot of fun observing and investigating the other animal x-rays.

Lego creations

Thank you Doug for reading to our class today!

Outside time

During small group time we used a giant ten frame to strengthen our understanding of one to one correspondence.  We used a dice to help us subitize (Subitize is the ability to look at three dots and be able to say that there are three dots without counting them).

We created with the geo boards.

We also found the dogs that Mrs. Zwettler hid.  We worked to order them in numerical order.

During Jesus time we reviewed the 10 Commandments.  We learned that we can never keep all of the commandments because we are not perfect.  That is why God sent Jesus to be the perfect sacrifice for us!  We are made perfect by Jesus' death and resurrection!

Second outside time

During second free choice the friends enjoyed playing the count and seek pet house game!

Creating with the legos

Creation station masterpieces

During second small group time we worked to write a sign for our veterinary offices.

We played the dog bone counting game independently.

We also continued working with our big ten frame!

At goodbye time we practiced listening to the various speeds of music.  We clapped, marched, and danced to the beat. :)
