It was another great day in Pre-K! 

Many of the friends worked on the catapult/ slingshot this morning.  They discussed what the difference was between the two.  Some of the friends asked to see pictures of the two, and so we researched them on the computer.

We are learning to take care of animals as we pretend to be veterinarians. 

Of course, we love our board games too! 

Outside time

During small group time we worked on writing a paper to fill our Operation Christmas Child boxes.  We then went to fill our boxes! 

We went in two groups.  Mrs. Zwettler read to the group that was not packing their boxes.

We prayed over the boxes and the children who would receive the boxes.  We prayed that God would give the children faith and that our boxes would be a blessing to them.

During second small group time the friends practiced rhyming with Mrs. Lipsey.  

They read books independently. 

We also worked on playing with the sounds of language (phonemic awareness) as we sang this song!
