We had a great day in Pre-K!

Morning free choice

We love board games!  These games help increase social skills such as taking turns.  They also increase one to one correspondence as well as number recognition and counting!  Plus- board games are fun!

Creation station

Veterinarian Jordan is here to take care of the animals!

Lego creations

Outside time

The friends initiated a game of duck, duck, goose!

During small group time some friends completed their initial drawing of a veterinarian/ veterinarian office.  Then, we worked to compare sets using the words less and more.

We explored with the magnets and documents whether or not the item was magnetic on our graph.  Some of the friends added more lines to their graph to they could easily see if we had more magnetic or non-magnetic items.

We practiced writing letters with Mrs. Zwettler.  We then added glue and glitter to our letters!  When the letters are dry, we will be able to rub our fingers on them and feel the lines of the letter.  This will help us as we work to recognize and write letters!

During Jesus time we practiced singing our songs for church on Sunday with the preschool class!

Second outside time

Second free choice

During second small group time we finished the glitter letters with Mrs. Zwettler.

With me, the friends went on a letter hunt. They worked to write the letters they saw.  Their writing has improved so much already this year!
