Happy Thanksgiving!

This morning in chapel Pastor Matt shared with us that although we are broken in our sin, we are made new because of Jesus death and resurrection!

(He broke a bowl to illustrate this and this friends thought it was pretty cool.  :) )

After chapel and snack, we had extra free choice time!

The friends often independently practice their letters!

These friends were singing, "Where do we start our letters?  At the top!"

After the extra free choice, we made popcorn!

We used two different seeds.  We predicted if the popped popcorn will be different when it is popped.  The friends could hardly tell a difference!  That is just like us.  We are different on the outside, but on the inside, we are the same!

Waiting for the popcorn

What will happen if we take the lid off? ...

... the popcorn flies!

After we made the popcorn we did a book about popcorn and our senses.  This helps expand our vocabulary!

Once we completed the book, we snacked on popcorn and pumpkin fluff.  We loved watching a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving!

Second free choice time

Thank you Pagan family for the yummy cupcakes!

We watched a little bit of the first Thanksgiving story at the end of the day.  :)

Happy Thanksgiving!!
