Check out this tall tower from morning free choice!  We all discussed how it was staying balanced right as it fell down.  We talked together about what we could do differently so that it would not fall again.

Working together to make the puzzle

Outside time was so much fun in the beautiful weather!

Mrs. Zwettler cheered on the friends in the ga-ga ball pit.

During small group time, Mrs. Zwettler led the friends in some crossing the mid-line activities. (The mid-line is the invisible line between the right and left side of your body.)  Crossing the mid-line helps the right side and left side of your brain communicate well to each other.  Because the different hemispheres of your brain each carry out a different task, it is important that they are able to communicate with one another. Furthermore, crossing the mid-line is important for large and small motor development.

We also made a sign for special person's day on Wednesday.

Finally, the friends watched a real video of the life cycle of a spider.  We discussed the life cycle of humans and spiders.

During Jesus time, we learned the story of the Tower of Babel.  We learned that the only way to get to heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ.  He died and rose again for each one of us so that we can be with Him forever!

After lunch and quiet time, we went outside to play.

During second free choice, the friends wanted to change the kitchen to a theater and movie theater. We worked to write signs for the theater.  We problem solved where we should put the items for the theater.

During small group time we made signs for the new theater.

We also did more crossing the mid-line activities.
