Welcome back!  I am so thankful to be back in school with your children!  

During our morning meeting we did some interactive writing!  We are working together this week to write a story about our Christmas break.  

We will continue working on this book this week! 

We noticed that our book has no pictures yet!  I then read a funny book with no pictures to the friends.  They were laughing so much!  :) 

We reviewed all of the items we need to put on before going outside.  Our friends have gained independence in putting on their outside gear! 

We then went outside! 

Back in the classroom we listed the two jobs we needed to do today.  The friends then explored the new dramatic play!  The friends worked together cooperatively to create various play scenarios, read the print, and create more print for their play.  

"I think we need some chairs for people to sit at the table."

"Okay it will be four dollars please." 

"Careful!  This is hot!" 

"This one says customer.  It's for the customer to wear so we know who is the customer!" 

We sorted letters and numbers and then identified them too! 

We counted out how many blocks based on the number we identified.  

We also added words to our alphabet chart. 

After lunch we went to the hill!
