This morning Joel Marquardt, our DCE, led our chapel.  He shared with us that Jesus is the King of Kings!  That is why on Ephipany the three wise men (who were also kings) brought Jesus gifts. 

Outside time 

After snack, we went to work! 

"What would you like to order?" 

"I am taking a picture of this one.   Then it's your turn." 

The friends used the social strategies we have learned to share and take turns with the camera without needing adult intervention! 

One of our church members who volunteers to care for our property was burning some brush.  

This caused quite a discussion in our classroom. 

"I see smoke!  There must be fire because if there is smoke there is fire!"

"We need to call the ambulance!" 

"Look!  I see the fire!" 

I shared with the friends what our church member was doing and how he is staying safe and keeping us safe.

Our friends have recently began loving puzzles.  Puzzles promote spatial reasoning and collaboration.

We worked to write our stories too!
