Welcome back for another great week of school!  

Our verse for the week is from Psalm 31:14.  

After we reviewed our bible verse for the week, we wrote a story together!  We went around a circle continuing the story from the previous friends.  I added to the illustrations as the story progressed.  In this activity, the friends are learning to sequence events, tell a story, and express creativity! 

We then read this book together.  After reading the book, we worked to answer questions about the book.  This helps our friends' comprehension and lays a strong foundation for them to continue to develop as readers. 

Outside we enjoyed playing in the snow! 

During free choice work time the friends explored our new sensory tiles! 

We explored spatial relationships and practiced identifying shapes too. 

Of course we wrote many books! 

Some friends used our number book to practice counting! 

Look at our collaboration in the blocks!  The friends worked together to resolve their conflicts, share, and build together.

"Maybe a squirrel!" 

We then checked on the fish in the pond.  As always, we reviewed how important is it to be safe around the pond!  We don't get too close and listen to the teacher's direction immediately.
