This morning I was able to take some professional development time.  Mrs. Helmkamp, Mrs. Zwettler, and Mr. McPeak were with the friends this morning. A special thank you to them!! 

During Jesus time Mrs. Helmkamp read the story of Abraham and Sarah and God's promise.  They sang songs to remind them of the story! 

Mrs. Helmkamp helped the friends recognize letters with a fun Crocodile game. 

With Mrs. Zwettler, the friends drew pictures of themselves and people that they love.  We will use this for a "We are children of God" mural. 

With Mr. McPeak, the friends played shape Bingo to practice recognizing shapes. 

The friends also created in the blocks! 

Outside time 

During free choice time the friends were excited to create robots in the robot workshop! 

During morning meeting we read a Pete the Cat Robot book! 

We also discussed the differences between the shapes we have learned this week and how to tell them apart. 

Second outside time

During second small group time we practiced recognizing letters with the Crocodile game. 

We played shape bingo with Mrs. Lipsey! 

We created in the blocks too! 

Free choice time

One of the friends made windows for our door! 

We observed some special robot parts.  We were careful not to touch them because they have sharp parts!
