During chapel this morning Mr. Mark Borcherding shared with us the importance of the armor of God.  He compared it to a football uniform and shared with us that the armor of God protects us just like different football gear protects the players.

During small group time we identified shapes with shape bingo.

We worked together in the blocks.

We also painted with oil!  When held up to the light, the oil allows the light to shine through.  We discussed how we can shine Jesus' love to others just like the light shines through the painting.

(If you have a minute, come and take a peek at the paintings hanging on the windows in our classroom. :) )

Outside time

The friends started their own game of Duck, Duck, Goose!

During free choice time the friends worked to change our kitchen into the robot workshop.  Allowing the children to take part in the transformation allows them to feel ownership of the items and also responsibility to take care of them.

Some friends made signs for the "welcome bot" we created!

During morning meeting we played "Little Mouse" to help identify shapes.

We also read this fun book!

Second outside time

During second small group time we practiced identifying letters with a fun game.

The friends also created in the blocks.

The friends also practiced identifying shapes with Mrs. Lipsey.

Second free choice

We worked on the robot workshop too!

We started creating robots in the robot workshop too!
