"Beloved! You are a child of God now!" 1 John 3:2

During Jesus time we reviewed the story of God's promise to Abraham.  We sang, "My God is so Great!" to help us remember how strong God is.  He raised Jesus from the dead!

We then sang Father Abraham to get our bodies moving and help us remember the story of Abraham. :)

During small group time we wrote our "wonderings" about robots.

This helps us learn how to form questions.  It also helps direct our project as we can see what the children are curious about.

With Mrs. Helmkamp, we worked on our artwork that will remind us of the story of God's promise to Abraham.

We practiced recognizing shapes with Mrs. Zwettler as we played shape bingo too!

Independently, the friends read books in the library.

In the gym, we did four groups too!

One group did dancing ribbons.

One group played duck, duck, goose.

One group worked with the balance cups.

One group practiced with the balance beam.

Back in the classroom we had our free choice time.  Many of the friends were excited to work on the signs for the robot workshop.

(See the information about meaningful learning in yesterday's post.  :) )

During morning meeting we looked for the mouse hiding in the different shape houses to help identify shapes.

We then watched a short music video about shapes.

(If you want to watch the video, click HERE. )

It was too wet on the playground to go outside, so we had a dance party inside!

We then went for a walk outside to look for shapes!

Look at one of the shapes we found!

During small group time we practiced recognizing letters with this fun game!

We added to our star artwork too.

With Mrs. Lipsey, we played shape Bingo!

Free choice time

Some of the friends worked to hang out Robot Workshop sign!

During goodbye time we read this book about shapes!
