We had a great day in Pre-K!

This morning Ezra made a plan of how we can attach wheels to our delivery van.

We then followed the plan to see if it would work!

Avery and Nora noticed more sprouts in our garden area!  Yay!

Exploring light and shadows

Karissa and Abby are increasing their love of reading and books.

Some friends worked hard to create cards for the flower shop.

Ezra recorded flowers that have been ordered

Lucas worked the cash register

Owen followed his map (GPS) to deliver the flowers.

Good morning neighbor!

Thank you Olivia for the new books!

We played "how many are hiding" again during morning meeting.

We went out for a fire drill!

During small group time, we worked on yet another still life drawing.  The friends' have grown in their abilities!

Sadly, the light bulb in our projector burnt out so the friends were not able to explore the light during small groups.  :(  (I will work on that over Spring break.)

However, they were very excited to read the new books we received!

With me, the friends worked to paint words on the delivery car.  They took turns painting letters.  they helped me sound out the words that we wrote on the delivery car!

"Flower shop"

"Delivery"

"Pre-K Service"

During Jesus time, we reviewed the story of Jesus riding into town on a donkey.  We learned that we do not have to do anything to receive salvation; it is a gift from God!  Praise God for the precious gift of salvation!

As the friends were washing hands for lunch, Kennedy read a book to her friends.  Great job Kennedy!

Second free choice

Before second small groups, Mrs. Lipsey and Mrs. Zwettler surprised me with a belated birthday celebration.  Thank you both!!

During second small groups we continued our work with still life artwork.

With me, the friends compared the two tangrams!
