During Jesus time today we learned the story of the Prodigal Son.  You can read the story at home in Luke 15:11-22. 

During the morning I had my professional development time to learn and grow as a teacher.  :). Thank you Mrs. Zwettler and Mrs. Bertoncini for taking good care of our class!

Free choice time

During free choice time some of the friends made up a game and the rules to the game.  This is a foundational social studies skill! 

Exploring the marble works

During small group time we practiced segmenting and blending sounds words.  This is an important phonemic awareness skill.

With Mrs. Lipsey, the friends explored opposites. 

With Mrs. Helmkamp, the fiends played a game to increase number recognition, subitizing, letter identification, and letter sounds. 

The friends also created in the blocks independently.
