During Jesus time we acted out the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000.

We then sang songs of praise and thanks to God.

One of my favorite parts of our day is seeing the childrens's faith grow and develop. Thank you for sending your child here to Our Shepherd!

Thank you Mr. Anderson for reading to us in the library today!

Gym time

Look how our friends are showing God's love to each other in the gym!

Free choice time

Many of the friends chose to make crowns.  Look how strong their fine motor skills are becoming!

Working together to make a tower

"WEEEE OOOO WEEEE OOOO. You're arrested for speeding! Here is your ticket!"

The friends wanted to make baby dolls too!  How creative!

During morning meeting we read a big book about our Jesus time story for the week. Big books are a great way to point out important concepts of print including the space between the words, punctuation, and print orientation.

Second free choice

Our Police Station made a little mess in the classroom.  We talked about another job that people do - clean up!  A janitor or custodian helps keep buildings clean!

Working together

We read this great book about a police officer and a very fun dog!

During small group time we practiced recognizing numbers.

We painted the police station.

We explored in the marbles.

We also wrote our own safety tips like in the book we read!
