During Jesus time we acted out the story of the blind man.  We remembered that Jesus has saved us from our sins!

We then wrote questions for our visiting expert today.  (Mr. Curt Marsh is a church member and was a mechanic for 41 years.)

Thank you to our library volunteers Mr. Matthews and Mr. Anderson!

Back in the classroom we watched a short minute video informing us that the groundhog saw his shadow and predicts six more weeks of winter.

Free choice time

One of the friends asked for help to draw a flower.  This was a great time to put our observational drawing skills to work!

Collaborating in the blocks

We made a thank you poster for Mr. Marsh too.

Mr. Marsh shared lots about cars with us!

He showed us some items and we predicted whether or not they were used to fix cars. He then shared with us how each tool was used to fix cars.

He gave us a map of car wires too!  We learned that there are over three miles of wires in a car!  Wow!

We had many questions about the map of wires.

Thank you Mr. Marsh!!

Second free choice

One of the friends made a credit card.

Some of the friends wanted to record themselves singing, so we set up a recurring station with the school iPad!

During small group time we had a dance party!

We practiced writing letters in flour.

We also rolled cars in shaving cream to stimulate our senses!  Sensory stimulation increases cognitive development.  :)
