During Jesus time we acted out the story of the week.

We remembered that "The Lord is a stronghold in times of trouble." Psalm 9:9

We then shared the most important message with each other - Jesus loves you!

Thank you Ms. Jen and Mr. Anderson for your help in the library today!

Outside time

Did you know that there are three teachers in the classroom?

1. The teacher
2. The curriculum
3. The environment

Today we adjusted our environment to draw interest to other areas of the classroom.

We added a "Wonder Window" to our classroom.

With this, the friends will have the opportunity to draw what they see and express wonder about the world that they see.  This will increase awareness of the world around us, curiosity, fine motor development, and the ability to form a question.  This also incorporates writing into other areas of our classroom.

Creation station

Our morning message today! We counted the words in the first line of the message.  We then counted the letters in the words. These are concepts of print that will help the children become successful readers.

Second outside time

During second small group time we watched the middle school performance of their musical.  They did a great job!  If you are interested in seeing the musical it will be tonight at 7:00 in the Sanctuary.

The middle school acted out the story of David and Goliath.
