This morning during morning meeting, we had fun playing the rhyming bridge game together!

We then sang and acted out a song about a seed growing into a flower.

During small group time we worked on completing our Jesus is risen craft that will help us share the story of Easter!

Mrs. Morris helped us today as Mrs. Zwettler is still sick.  (Please say a prayer for Mrs. Zwettler!)

With Mrs. Morris, the friends practiced recognizing numbers.  They then counted out the same amount of beans into the cup.

As we wrap up our flower/flower shop project, the friends shared all they know about flowers and flower shops.  This serves as an assessment for our project.  It also provides a sample of the friends' language development!

(They also had fun making silly faces and making each other laugh ;) )

Outside time!

Abby found a worm!  Many of the friends wanted to see and touch the worm.

Trying to find more more worms :)

Free choice time was filled with creations :)

The friends worked together in the flower shop.  They did a great job resolving conflicts independently!

"How many minutes until I can be the cashier?"

"I don't have a chair!"  "Here!  I will get one for you!"

Block creations provide opportunities for the children to practice problem solving, persistence, and foundational math skills including: length, comparison, and symmetry.

Elijah made a police name tag for the flower shop to protect the shop from robbers.

During Jesus time we reviewed the story of Jesus' death and resurrection.  We remembered that when Jesus died and rose again, He gave us the BEST girt!  The gift of eternal life!
