Rhyming bridge has become a new class favorite!

Mr. Mierow (Mrs. Miller's father who is also an educator filling in for Mrs. Miller's maternity leave) stopped by to borrow my guitar.  He played a song for us too!

During morning meeting we sang "I've been redeemed." We remembered that is why we celebrate Easter!  Because of Jesus' death and resurrection we have been redeemed!

Before we went to dig our garden, we had a dance party!

Digging in the garden

First, we had to pull up the weeds.

The 8th graders came to help!

Pastor Matt helped too!

After 45 minutes, we had dug up all of the grass and weeds!  Over the weekend, I will work to till it up so we can plant our seeds next week!

During Jesus time, we reviewed the story of Easter.  We learned that eggs, candy, and the easter bunny are all fun parts of Easter, but the most important part of Easter is Jesus' death and resurrection!

After lunch and rest, we went to the kindergarten classroom to watch a short movie about Holy Week.
