The rhyming bridge is falling down!

Growing from a seed to a flower

Pastor Matt stopped in to say hello to our class.  He joined in the flower growing fun!

Today we did the alphabet using a squeaky voice.  :)

During morning meeting we matched upper and lower case letters.  We also worked to identify the beginning sound of words and match them with the letters.

We continued to work on our He is risen craft.

With Mrs. Lipsey, we practiced recognizing numbers and counting out beans.

Outside the friends asked if I would join in on the hanging contest...the friends won! :)

We found a goose nest on the big playground!

Free choice time

Isabella, Eli, and Abby took turns pretending to be the teacher.

Then, Kennedy and Eli pretended to be the teacher and led some of the friends in another small group time!

During Jesus time we reviewed the most important story of all; the story of Jesus' death and resurrection!

Second free choice

The friends helped cut out their pieces to help re-tell the story of Jesus' death and resurrection!

One of the friends was having trouble getting his coat on.  Eli and Leighton offered to help!  Great job showing God's love!

Outside the kindergarten class showed us their dried sunflowers.  We worked together with the kindergarten to determine which was the tallest.

We then looked at (and smelled) the beautiful flowers!

During second small groups we added stems to the flower stamping from yesterday.

With Mrs. Lipsey, the friends worked to quantify, identify the corresponding number, and then count out that many items to "plant" in dough.

With me, the friends practiced recognizing letters and their sounds!
