On Wednesday we had a great day of Pre-K.

Mr. Huntington started with chapel.  We were reminded that Jesus is the Lamb of God who has saved us from sin, death, and the devil!

Outdoor play

During small group time we completed our Jack-O- Happy Books.

We also voted on how we should carve our pumpkin.  We wrote our nam to represent our vote.

With Mrs. Zwettler we cut out the pumpkins from our painted paper for our jack-o-lantern.

After small group time, we evaluated the graph as a group.

We discussed that one of the boys in the upper grades was getting baptized in the pond in the afternoon.  The friends had so many questions about baptism!  We called in  Pastor Matt, and he took us to see the baptismal font in the church.  We discussed that in baptism, God marks us as His own.

Back in the classroom we reminded each other that we are children of God as we dipped our fingers in water, made the sign of the cross on our friend, and shared, "You are a child of God."

We went back outside to play before the baptism in the pond.

The upper grades processed out of the school with the cross in front on the way to the baptism.

The service of baptism

Praise God for the baptism of Wyatt!
(The friends and I discussed that some people are baptized in water like the picture below, but other people have water sprinkled on their heads.  No one way is better than the other.  :) )
