This morning we learned about the special rules, called commandments, that God gave us.  We learned that rules keep us save and show us our need for a Savior!

As the weather becomes cooler, we will plan to go outside as much as possible.  Please be sure that your child is properly prepared for the cold.  Thank you!

Our friends do a great job of helping each other!

Outdoor classroom explorations

The friends made their own teeter totter. Great creative thinking friends!

During small group time the friends took turns practicing writing words in the classroom on the marker boards.

They also worked on a creative art mural with painted corn kernels.

Finally, the friends used "good junk" to make their own turkey.  This increases problem solving and creative thinking!

Free choice time

"Welcome to the Hula Hoop Show!"

Building together

More turkey making

Exploring spatial relationships

Exploring letter formation

The friends also created an in-depth play scenario in which one of the friends pretended to be sick.  The parents and animals all surrounded the sick friend to take care of him/her.

"Your forehead is hot.  You need some medicine."

"My throat hurts a lot too."

"Drink your water and try to rest.  I will read you a book while you rest."

"Come here puppy.  Help her feel better."

During afternoon meeting we played with the sounds of language as we clapped out syllables for various words.
