We had a great day here in Pre-K!

The friends wanted to make more paper for the road.  They worked together to paint a large piece of butcher paper.  Great teamwork friends!

The car drivers worked to write their driver's license again!  This was another great opportunity to engage in meaningful writing!

Many of the friends used problem solving and creative thinking to add to our road!

Stretching in the gym

Relay time!  :)

Playing with hula hoops

During small group time the friends wrote in their journals.  We are really working on using correct pencil grip with our friends, and they are doing a great job!

With me, the friends worked to draw a path for new roads in our classroom.

They then helped make the new road!

With Mrs. Zwettler, the friends practiced writing letters in rice.  We remembered to start our letters at the top.

During Jesus time, we reviewed the story of Jairus' daughter. We learned that because of sin in the world, we will all experience sadness and death.  However, we learned that Jesus is more powerful than death!  He takes our sadness away.  Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can trust in God to help with any of our problems, no matter how large.

During second free choice we continued our road map creating.  Toll booth workers identified themselves with ID badges that they wrote themselves.

Some friends made cards for their parents!  :)

The cars on the road were identified with license plates.

During small group time we practiced differentiating between letters and numbers.

We also wrote in our journals.

With me, the friends wrote letters in the rice!
