Happy half birthday Isabella!  We are so thankful that God brought you to our class!

This morning we started the estimation jar!  This helps the friends practice counting, number recognition, and writing numbers!

We enjoyed a floor puzzle map this morning!

The friends worked to write labels for their hard work.  If their work has a label, we can save it for the next day!

We ventured outside for a quick ten minutes.

The friends who did not want to get their tennis shoes in the snow went for a walk on the sidewalk with Mrs. Zwettler.

If your child did not have a hat or gloves, he/she borrowed from my extras.  (Each time they are used, I take them home to be washed.)

Many of the friends were shouting:
"This is the best day ever!"

"I love outside!"

I think they missed going outside.  :)

During small group time we explored maps.  We then drew a map of our classroom!

Independently, the friends painted with watercolor.

With Mrs. Zwettler, we worked to write a plan of what we would build in the blocks.  We then followed our building plan!

Check out our building plans and how we followed them!  Great work friends!

During Jesus time we practiced singing I am Jesus Little Lamb with the preschool.

Second outside time

During second free choice, Leighton was exploring with the magnets and noticed that some of our baskets have metal in them!

Dominick chose to practice writing!

We hung up our building plans for inspiration.

Isabella made funny creations that made us all laugh.  :)

During small group time we practiced our balance.

We also practiced writing numbers.

We also worked on correct formation of the letters in our name.
