This morning Pastor Lesley led our chapel.  He shared with us how God gives us many good things!

As we wrap up our Car/Community Helpers Project, we took a minute to share what we want to be when we grow up.  The friends had a great idea to make a play to share with others what we have learned throughout our Project.  We decided to make a play before spring break.  Thursday, March 15th we will present the play to anyone who can join us at 9:00 in the chapel.

We then sang a song to remind us that our hope is in the Lord!

During gym time we worked to strengthen our core muscles.

We then ran and had fun during free play in the gym.

Some of the friends wanted to make a sign for our play.  We worked to paint the letters and words to invite others to the play!

During morning meeting we continued to discuss what we need for our play.  These discussions increase social skills as well as language development!

Second free choice time

Reading the daily schedule

writing the daily schedule :)

One of the friends took the calm down book to read to a friend who was upset.  The friends are not only learning to regulate their impulses and emotions, but they are also learning to help others do the same.

During small group time we practice identifying numbers, counting with one to one correspondence, and ordering numbers 1-10.

We explored spatial relationships with the pattern blocks.

We practiced writing and identifying letters with the write and wipe boards.

We also experimented to see how many drops it takes to fill an item.
