This morning during Jesus time we learned the story of Zacchaeus.  We learned that God loves us and forgives us no matter what!

During small group time the friends worked on a book to for our play.  We worked on letter identification and formation.

We made signs for the play with Mrs. Zwettler.  They worked to sound out words with Mrs. Zwettler as they made the signs.

Independently, the friends matched numbers presented as quantities and numerals.

On the playground, the friends were very interested in the plastic coyote used to keep the geese away.

Free choice time

The friends were excited to see all of the new supplies at the creation station!

Writing their own morning messages :)

These friends counted all the numbers on the measuring tape.

Exploring the ramp

During morning meeting we read a book in English and Spanish.  The friends thought it was funny to hear the words in another language!

Second outside time

During free choice time the friends decide to make a "How to Make" book.

Working together to solve puzzles and increase foundational math skills. :)

Sorting keys

We love to read!

During small group time we worked together to complete a puzzle.

With mrs. Helmkamp the friends practiced measuring and writing numbers.

The friends read a big book with Mrs. Zwettler.  Mrs. Zwettler drew attention to the print in the book as well as the spaces between the words to strengthen concepts of print.
