Happy Birthday Zoey!  We are so thankful tat God brought you to our class!

During Jesus time this morning we read the story of Jesus' death and resurrection.  We discussed that all of the stories in the Bible are true.  People will try to tell us that parts of the Bible aren't true, but they are wrong.  The Bible is all true.

During small group time we webbed what we wonder about birds.  The friends explored books about birds too!

With Mrs. Zwettler, the friends cut out palm leaves.  We are working to strengthen our fine motor skills as we stay on the lines of the leaves.

Independently, the friends engaged in creative thinking and problem solving as they made bird houses out of good junk.

We then went to the gym.

Second free choice time

Weighing the eggs

Reading books about birds increases child inquiry of birds.

"Why does the bird have different colored feathers?"

Making nests for the birds

Signing up for a turn to wear the bird wings is an opportunity to engage in meaningful writing practice.

"If you balance these two, it makes a house!"

We are exploring scientific concepts through our play!

Increasing spatial relationships through collaborative puzzle work

Looking for birds :)

Some of the friends made special towers for the bird eggs.

We still love exploring scientific concepts as we play with the ramp.

Looking for birds

We worked to create a tree for our birds too!

"I made a booby trap for the birds."

Writing a morning message - Our class loves to write!

These friends worked to order numbers 1-10 and celebrated when they did it.  :)

"I am reading about Jesus died for us.  He loves us!"

During small group time we made more leaves and strengthened our fine motor skills.

With me, we discussed things that we wonder about birds.

With Mrs. Lipsey, the friends read books about birds.  :)
