Our friends were so excited to find worms on the hill today! 

Our friends have been discussing microphones more and more in our study of music. After the hill and snack we went to the sanctuary to observe the different microphones.  

"What does a microphone do?" 

"It makes things so loud." 

"How does it work?"

"It has batteries!" 

We were able to bring one back to our classroom for further investigation. 

"I see the microphone has ovals and circles!" 

The friends observed the microphone and stand and drew a representation of it.  

"You see that straight line there?  That's what I drew.  The stand." 

Working in the music room 

Some friends wanted to make their own instruments. 

"I made a microphone stand!" 

We were working hard in the block area too! 

After lunch we went to the music garden!  What a blessing that we have access to so many music experiences right here on our campus!
