During morning meeting we explored my guitar.  The friends asked, "Why do the guitars have strings?"  This led to a discussion about vibrations.  We learned that all sounds are made up of vibrations.  We put our hands to our neck to feel our vocal chords vibrate when we talk.  Then, we felt how the guitar strings vibrate.  We used our hands to stop the vibrations and therefore the sounds!

We used our egg shakers to make vibrations and sang along with the guitar!

After snack, we went to the hill and then the playground.  We are so thankful to have spent the majority of our day outside!  We are so blessed to be here at Our Shepherd with a lot of land and so many outdoor learning spaces!

After lunch we took a nice long walk to the back of our property to see the creek and the bridge.  Here we did our Jesus time.
