This morning we enjoyed a book by the same author as They All Saw a Cat. This book also has a repetitive and predictable text just like They All Saw a Cat. The friends were laughing at the funny pictures and enjoyed participating in the book.
Outside time
"Get on the boat! Get on the boat!"
As we were leaving the playground the friends noticed so many birds on the tree.
Working on the hill
After snack, we read The Grouchy Ladybug. We discussed the good and bad choices in the book. We then discussed what we could do when we feel grouchy.

"It says spoons!"
"Oh! We put the spoons in there?"

After lunch we explored the outdoor small groups.
We also re-told the story of the grouchy ladybug using the bugs!

We then went on our nature walk. I began to model our nature journals for the friends. We will begin our nature journals in the next few weeks. As we walked we discussed who made all of the beautiful things we are exploring. God! God not only made us, He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins, rise again, and give us eternal life!
