This morning we had chapel with Pastor Matt and Mrs. Hedges!
Pastor Matt reminded us that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose again to save us from our sins!
We then went to the classroom to use the restroom and wash our hands. While we were waiting, we read this book!
The friends were excited to visit the hill to explore and play.
After snack, we we read another book that we have been reading this week called They All Saw Cat. We wrote the word cat on the board because that is an important word in the book we are reading. We practiced the sounds of the letters in the word CAT too!
In the outdoor classroom some friends chose to write and draw pictures. Some chose to write the word cat and other words too!
Some friends used the number lines to count and share their age.

After lunch we had some time for outdoor small groups. The friends chose to explore and count the gems, draw, or explore the bugs.
Then it was time for our nature walk! We have been checking on the berries and the thorn bush as we walk. In the coming weeks, we will add clipboards and paper to document our observations.
"Friends! Come see! The rocks are beautiful!"
