"We love because He first loved us!" 1 John 4:19

This week we are learning the parable of the Good Samaritan.  We are able to love others because Jesus loves us.  He loves us so much that He died on the cross and rose again to save us from our sins!

Even with the rain, we were able to run and play in the gym.

During small group time we worked to build igloos.  This increases creative thinking skills, spatial relationship skills, and collaboration.

We also read books together.  While the friends are not able to read conventionally, they are learning valuable pre-reading skills!

We worked to draw ice cubes with Mrs. Dieckamp.

We also worked to make words and match letters.  The friends attention to print has increased!

Free choice time

The friends created a play scenario around the light table and polar animals.  Through their conversations they are learning to express their thoughts, resolve conflicts, and learn from one another.

"How many ice cubes fit into this big cube?"
