Our class is filled with kind and helpful friends.  During a game in the gym this morning one of the friends was struggling to complete the activity.  So many friends ran over and offered a hand to help or verbal encouragement.  They are showing God's love to each other! 

During small group time we continued to make some words. 

We also worked together to make igloos out of Legos. 

We practiced number identification and counting using a ten frame with Mrs. Dieckamp. 

We explored a thermometer and how it words.  We used new vocabulary words such as temperature and indicator in our exploration. 

We put a thermometer in a cup of hot water and a cup of cold water and observed the difference. 

We then explored the thermometers during free choice! 

Some friends continued to practice counting.

During Jesus time we learned the parable of the lost son.  We learned that Jesus always forgives us!  He loves us so much that He sent Jesus to die on the cross and rise again to save us!
