Happy Monday! 

This morning during morning meeting we played a hide and seek game with the gems.  The friends  closed their eyes and some of the gems would hide.  The friends counted the remaining gems and determined how many gems were hiding.  We are laying the foundation for future learning of addition and subtraction! 

Gym time on a rainy day

During small groups we worked together to make words and identify letters.

We also read books.  While the friends are not able to read conventionally yet, they are leaning important concepts about books. They are also learning to love reading which is so important! 

We continued the gem game with Mrs. Dieckamp. 

Free choice time 

During Jesus time we learned the strue tory of Jesus blessing the children. Jesus loves us so much!  He will never tell us to go away!  He loves us so much that He died on the cross and rose again to save us from our sins!
