During Jesus time we reviewed the story of Moses in the river.  We learned that God created Moses with a purpose, and He created us with a purpose too!

During small group time we cut out pictures of things that grow.  We discussed the fact that things that grow are living! Things that don't grow - are non-living.

We explored magnets.

We read books.

We also predicted which would roll farther - the slinky or the tape roll.  We tested our predictions.  We then measured to see how far each one rolled.  We then wrote the measurements on our paper.

One of the friends observed, "If we roll it fast, it will go farther."  This is a theory we will have to test!

In the gym we practiced balancing.

We played with the hula hoops.

We played duck, duck, goose.

We also practiced throwing and catching in a cup!

During free choice time, the friends continued to work on their robots.

They wrote their names on the robots so we don't forget who created the robot.

Some of the friends measured the robots!

Two friends decided that the robots needed electricity.  They made an electrical box.

They wanted everyone to be safe around the box, so they worked to make signs to warn other friends.

Some friends built with other classroom objects!

During morning meeting we read a book about robots.  We also sang "Down by the Bay" to increase our rhyming awareness.
