Thank you Mrs. Davis and Mr. Anderson for helping in the library today!

Brr!  Fall is here!  Outside time was a bit chilly today, but we are thankful for the opportunity to fun and play!

Mrs. Dubke, our first grade teacher, found this magazine to share with our class!  Thank you Mrs. Dubke!

We discussed forces: pushing and pulling.

Free choice time

The friends problem solved how to rip the tape as they were creating.  It seems like a mundane task, but the children are learning how to persist, think of other solutions to a problem. and work together.

"Keep pulling it!  It will break."

"It's not breaking.  Go get the scissors."

"You can rip it if you use both hands."

Check out this article HERE for the benefits of block play!

The friends also gave tickets for a movie theater!

During small group time we voted for the door decorating contest.

Second free choice
