During chapel this morning our DCE intern, Mr. Marquardt, shared with us how we can pray.  We know that we can talk to God all the time.  He always listens when we pray!

We continued to explore magnets during small group time.  Today we documented whether the items were magnetic or not.  This increases visual discrimination, writing skills, and introduces us to graphs.  Furthermore, it brings a natural discussion of less, more, and equal.

We created in the blocks.

We continued to make letters.

We explored the slinkys.  The friends used the vocabulary that we have learned this week including vibrate, push and pull, up and down, etc.

In the gym we played freeze dance.  This helps increase inhibitive control which is an important component of executive function.

"This is Jesus!  He loves us!"

Working together to fix the keyboard so that the friends can program the robot.

Exploring numbers

Pastor Matt stopped in during free choice time!  The friends were excited to give him high fives.

Adam led us as we reviewed the letters during morning meeting.  :)

It was too wet to play on the playground today, so we went for a walk!

During small group time we continued to create shapes and discuss their differences.

We continued to create letters with the wood pieces.

We also created in the blocks!

We incorporate writing into our play naturally as we label our drawings, robots, and write letters for our friends.
