During chapel, Pastor Lesley shared with us that when we focus on God, rather than our problems, we can do great things!  We pray that we focus on Jesus!  He is bigger than any of our fears or troubles.

During small group time we used word cards and letters to make words.  This increases letter identification, upper and lower case letter matching, and strengthens the relationship between spoken word and written print.

We created in the blocks.

With mrs. Zwettler, we drew pictures of living things.

We tested out our friend's idea that if you push it harder, it will go farther.  His idea was correct!

In the gym, we played with the hula hoops.

We balanced on the balance cups.

We also played duck, duck, goose!

During free choice time, the friends were excited to work on the robots.

Some friends were concerned that their robots do not have electricity.

They worked together to attach cords so any robot who wants electricity has access to it.

Working together in the blocks

Due to the rain, we had a dance party rather than go outside.

During small group time we continued to work with the letters and words.

We practiced measuring with Mrs. Lipsey.

With me, the friends voted again to see if slinky are alive or not.  I wrote down the reasons the friends shared for voting yes or no.  We can compare these to the reasons from last week to see what our friends have learned.
