We had a great day here in Pre-K!

The friends were excited to explore and create with the marble works today!

They also loved making presents for loved ones.  We are working to write names on the gifts too!  (This is a great time to engage in meaningful writing practice!)

Gym time!

During small group time the friends played the roll a Christmas tree independently.  This activity not only allows for math development, (subitizing and number recognition) but it also allows the children to practice important social skills! They had to work together to take turns and help each other.

Shhh!  It's a secret!  The friends worked one on one with Mrs. Zwettler to make a gift for you!

While Mrs. Zwettler worked one on one with friends, the other friends created in the creation station.

With me, the friends played a gingerbread game that helps us practice positional words.

During Jesus time we lit another candle in preparation of Christmas!  The first candle is for hope.  The second candle is for peace, and the third is for joy.

Indoor recess and second free choice

During small group time the friends made Christmas trees using their creative abilities.

We played the positional word game too!

We also worked on our secret gift!  :)
