Happy Friday!

This morning many of the friends worked in the marble works!  They had to work hard to resolve their conflicts and problem solve, but they did not give up!  Great work friends!

Thank you Mrs. Davis for reading to us in the library today!  Next week we will go to the library, but we will not check out any books in preparation for Christmas break.

We bundled up to go outside for ten minutes.  We will go outside as much as possible.  Please plan to send in snow boots and snow pants as the snow deepens throughout the winter.  I will be bringing mine too!  :)

Back in the classroom we did freeze dance for the rest of our large motor time.

During small group time we wrote in our journals again.

We also finished our manger ornament with Mrs. Zwettler.

With me, we exercised those important fine motor skills by cutting our own Christmas wreaths.  Fine motor strength is an important skill that will benefit the children throughout their lives.

During Jesus time the friends helped act out the story!  A Savior has been born!  He is Christ the Lord!

Second outside time run outside  (We were out for ten minutes.)

Second free choice

During small group time we worked with the pattern blocks.

We practiced writing with Mrs. Lipsey.

We finished our manger ornaments with me.

I wanted to point out our nativity scene if you haven't had a chance to see it.  It is hanging under the parent education board.  The friends worked so hard on it, and it looks great!
