In chapel this morning we heard the Christmas gospel message from the 5th-8th graders during their Advent service! Jesus was born to die on the cross and rise again to save us from our sins!  Our friends did a fantastic job sitting as the program was longer than our usual chapel service. 

After chapel and snack we headed to the gym! 

(Thank you all for bringing snow pants and boots!  Sadly, it was too cold for us to use them.  Please plan to bring snow pants and boots throughout the winter.  We will go outside as much as possible.) 

The friends missed their free choice time this morning, and sat so well during the program.  We decided to have free choice time rather than small groups.  

At times, there is a conflict that the friends need to resolve.  Sometimes, we use the "work it out" table to do this.   At the work it out table, I stand close while the friends resolve the conflict.  They are learning valuable social skills!
