This morning in chapel Pastor Matt shared even more with us about Lent and Ash Wednesday.  

Did you know that the ashes we use are made from the palm branches from the previous Palm Sunday?  This reminds us that our King Jesus died on the cross and rose again to save us! 

Pastor Matt made the ashes there in front of us and we had the ashes put on our forehead or hand once again.  

After snack we discussed how we were going to stay safe when we go sledding! 

We then put on our snow gear and headed outside!
