"Unto you is born . . . a Savior who is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:11 This week we are learning that because of sin, we need a Savior!  God loved the world so much that He gave His Son to save us from the punishment of our sins.

After our morning routines we discussed whether or not each friend has an instrument at his / her house.  This was one of the questions we posed about instruments.  The friends helped me write a graph for our survey.  We were sure to use a finger space between words!

We noticed that many of the friends have instruments at home!

We then read this fun book filled with instruments and rhyming words.  :)

It was then time to go outside!

After snack the friends and I discussed our field trip tomorrow.

"How will we get there?  Will we ride a bus?"

I told the friends that we are going to the sanctuary, but we can make a bus to ride there if we want!  We took out our biggest box and the friends shared their ideas of how to make it into a bus.

"I think that we can fit two friends in here.  Maybe four!"

We tested four friends, but there was not enough room.  We decided to allow two friends to ride the bus at one time.  We will have to make a sign to remind us!

"I think we need to stabilize the sides of the bus."

The friends worked together pulling and cutting tape for the bus.  We discussed that we use tape to hold things together.  Some of the friends asked if we could use tape for decorations on the bus.  As you can see, we did!  :)

After lunch we went outside before heading in for rest time.

After rest we added scooters to our bus and took it for a test run!
