We began our day in chapel together!

I led our chapel today.  We discussed that today we are lighting the second candle on the Advent wreath.  We discussed what each candle means and that during Advent we wait the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ with excitement!

We then read a verse that told us when the wise men found the star they rejoiced with great joy!  We rejoiced too!  We discussed that the wise men weren't excited because the star was special, but they were excited because the star led them to their (and our) Savior! We excitedly shared Jesus' love with our friends and thought about people who we could tell about Jesus' love.

Then it was time to run and play!  We praise God for the warmer weather!

During free choice work time we completed our observational drawings of my guitar.

We explored spatial relationships and shapes through pattern blocks.

The friends worked on Christmas town too!

Many friends collaborated to make a train track.

Some friends created presents for loved ones.

We also counted and practiced recognizing numbers.

The friends wanted to wrap the boxes used to make buildings in Christmas town, so they worked together to do just that!

We then went back outside!
